Bach, Liszt & More as San Jose Wind Symphony Plays Pieces Chosen by Its Musicians

The Dawn Thomas Team likes to bring you fun activities around the Silicon Valley and today we have: Bach, Liszt & More as San Jose Wind Symphony Plays Pieces Chosen by Its Musicians!  Take this opportunity to listen to some great music and support your local musicians!

“For this unique concert, the San Jose Wind Symphony’s own musician-members have chosen the works to be played. Among the favorites picked by the players are Bach’s Fugue à la Gigue and Liszt’s Les Preludes. The lively program, entitled The Musician’s World, will also find the SJWS sharing the stage with a guest ensemble — the inspired, virtuosic Quadre Horn Quartet performing Schumann’s Konzertstück. These funny and highly entertaining French horn masters have won awards and played concerts across the country.”

When: Sunday, February 2nd at 3:00pm

Where: McAfee Center at Saratoga High School, 20300 Herriman Ave., Saratoga, CA 95070
