Welcome to Mountain View. With an abundance of dining and nightlife available, it’s a wonderful alternative to some of the higher price point areas on the peninsula.

Named for its views of the Santa Cruz Mountains, Mountain View is a convenient, lower-priced alternative to its neighbors on the west and north, yet offers many of the same conveniences and amenities. It is also home to many of the world’s top tech companies such as Google, Linkedin, and Symantec, making it a business and intellectual center.

There are a variety of home sizes and price points from downtown condos to larger, new construction on moderately sized lots.

There’s much to do in Mountain View. Castro Street is Mountain View’s downtown district with many shops and restaurants, as well as City Hall and the Mountain View Performing Arts Center. On Sunday, the nationally awarded farmer’s market is at the CalTrain Station. Shoreline Regional Wildlife Area has lots of great options. You can visit the Rengstorff House, take a hike along the lake, or enjoy waterside dining at the cafe.
