Born and raised in Santa Cruz, California, Brian earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Growing up with a father whose business is based in commercial and residential development and a mother who is a talented interior designer, it’s fair to say Brian grew up on a construction site. While most kids were playing with toys, Brian preferred a hammer or a power tool. Naturally drawn to the aesthetics of architecture and elements of home design, Brian spent many years working for his father’s company building homes and has since renovated several properties himself. He prides himself on his ability to speak this language and navigate his clients through basic home maintenance or large scaled development projects. Whether it’s identifying an issue or his construction expertise, his knowledge is a rare quality amongst most Realtors.

Brian and his wife Chelsea, just welcomed their first child in December of 2020 – a beautiful and healthy little girl named Anneke. The 3 of them (and their German Shepherd, Kado) can regularly be seen walking the neighborhoods and beaches of Capitola, Ca – where they currently live. Brian was born and raised in Santa Cruz and still considers it one of the best places to live and now, raise a family. Brian is an avid and competitive cyclist. When he is not working or with his family, you can assume he out on his bike hitting one of the many trails in the Santa Cruz area. You might also find him exploring the landscape with his camera, he has been shooting landscape photography professionally for close to 20 years. His work has been published in several wildlife magazines, The LA Times, Reuters, and many local galleries around the Bay Area.

Chuck Holcomb, Realtor | Sales Associate

Born and raised in Los Gatos, Chuck boasts a uniquely diverse skillset, bolstered by an extensive business background. With an early career founded in large-scale agribusiness, the Silicon Valley native skillfully handled supply chain management and contract negotiations before leading large scale capital projects focused on improving infrastructure.

The Cal Poly alum spent a tenure leading management teams of all sizes, coaching staff to be competitive in the marketplace and systematically work toward a common goal. Excelling at educating and creating value, he skillfully leveraged each opportunity to the benefit of his team and clients.

Mike Aning, Branch Manager | Mortgage Planner

A Silicon Valley native, in 2001, Mosaic co-founder Mike Aning found himself a Dot Com casualty. His 12-years experience in Project Management made the transition to Loan Management seamless and within a year, Mike was Top Producer at his firm. Soon after, Mike partnered with Dave Setti, founding Mosaic Mortgage Group. In addition to being a Certified Mortgage Specialist, Mike also holds his California Real Estate Broker’s license.
